Splendid Dining in Breckenridge

When you arrive in Breckenridge to scout out some of our Featured Listings for homes in Breckenridge, Keystone real estate, Copper Mountain and Frisco condos, Dillon townhouses, and/or Silverthorne CO homes, start by treating yourself to a splendid Breckenridge meal.  You need only walk along Main Street and the Victorian Breckenridge CO real estate and the world will come to your palate.

Over 100 restaurants, including the kitchens of some world-famous chefs, will entice your party to dine.  No worries about choosing.  You’ll probably sample them all over time and will find your favorites.  From coffee houses to cafes, casual spots to fine dining, from American cuisine to European or Japanese—you will find great places to treat your guests and yourself.  Be sure to pick up a Breckenridge Dining Guide for a complete list of locations.

A day can begin with a hearty or light breakfast.  Mid-morning or afternoon, watch out for the bakeries, ice-cream shops and luscious candy cabins that are favorites for kids and grandparents, too.  Lunch could be a casual burger, pizza, pasta, BBQ, sushi, soups, salads, or sandwiches.

By happy hour, the entertainment starts perking.  You’ll find locally brewed beer and wintertime après-ski celebrations all around you.

Dinner at a fine restaurant edges on a quaint elegance that is right at home in our town.  From wild game to fresh fish and seafood to special dishes prepared by award-winning chefs, you will not have to venture far to experience the tastes of far-flung lands.  Depending upon the restaurant and the season, prices range from modest to expensive.  During mud season in the spring, many of the best restaurants offer twofer dinners—a wonderful treat for the locals.

During the evening, touring musicians join local talent as they amp up the sounds.  You can step out to rock-n-roll, reggae, country western, jazz, and alternative rock at many nightclubs.  Or, find a quiet corner in a cozy tavern and blarney away the night.  With a reputation dating back to 1974, the Backstage Theatre also offers fantastic live entertainment and an evening that will take you off your feet.
