Pushing the pricing of new condominiums in Breckenridge, Colorado towards $1,500 per square foot, new luxury developments at Breckenridge Ski Resort are accenting the ski scape.  Buyers of Breckenridge CO real estate are snatching up these exclusive properties, regardless of the price.  Gracing the slopes of peak 6, Peak 8, and Peak 8 as well as the Shock Hill area will be the sold-out Crystal Peak Lodge and Grand Lodge, One Ski Hill Place, The Shock Hill Lodge & Spa, and Pristine Villaggio.

Anticipating the new real estate in Breckenridge, the Town expects the Breckenridge Ski Resort to apply for approval to run the BreckConnect gondola during nights and summers.  That way, as soon as the developments open to the new residents of these Breckenridge CO homes, the BreckConnect will also open its 121 cabin doors to potentially move 3,000 people every hour.  Let’s go down the list of new developments from peak to peak to offer you more details.

The plan for Peak 6 centered around 450 acres of new terrain.  Sixty-seven of the acres would be clear-cut below the timberline and will most likely accommodate six trails.  Another 285 acres of intermediate, advanced-intermediate, and expert ski terrain will be served by a new list that runs above the timberline.  The Resort is also proposing a top-terminal ski patrol, a warming hut, and a bottom-terminal facility with food and beverages.

Moving over to Peak 7, we already see the picturesque Crystal Peak Lodge and Grand Lodge taking shape.  Ski Hill Road has been moved down to the new Peak 7 base area.

On Peak 8 we will be seeing signs of the exquisite One Ski Hill Place, Vail Resorts’ 90-unit development at the base.  Pending pre-sales at $963 to $1,385 per square foot, One Ski Hill Place will be open for the 2009-2010 ski season.

With spectacular views of the resort, the most expensive condominiums at Shock Hill Lodge & Spa are pre selling for $3.5M.  The one hundred units will be located at the midway station of the new BreckConnect gondola.

Surrounding by preserve and national forest, the sanctuary of Pristine Villaggio offers 17.22 ski-in acres running parallel to the gondola.  The beauty of the Cucumber Gulch Preserve, the Ten Mile Range, and the Continental Divide make this spot a one-of-a-kind.
